Our Story

A Table Set With Purpose

Where Spanish tradition meets contemporary craft, one course at a time.

Our Beginning

Founded on a Single Belief

Mesa Española opened its doors on Paseo del Prado in 2016 with a singular belief: that Spain's regional cuisines deserve a stage as refined as any in the world. Every dish is a study of a specific place — Galicia's coast, Extremadura's pastures, Valencia's rice fields — brought together under one roof.

Chef Alejandro Ferrer leads a kitchen that treats tradition as a foundation, not a limit — reworking centuries-old recipes with modern technique, without losing the soul of the dish.
